Im guessing it will catch tonight. Very light winds and tomorrow is not supposed to be windy. I want to catch my first sebago togue!

Baby steps! Lots of skim ice with snow on it. Not going to take much wind to mess it up though. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

Wind is supposed to be light all day - 5 mph from SSW which is also a good direction as lower bay is frozen up. snow out in the middle of the lake so its caught (for now).

I wonder if the heavy snow will actually speed up the process by putting ice crystals directly on the surface? It looks more frozen now than it did when I looked first thing this morning.

8.4 degrees, wind WNW at 1 MPH, barometer at 30.206 and falling rapidly (hopefully does not bring wind with it). Still locked in with a light dusting of snow on top. Here is a close by weather site: http://home.roadrunner.com/~mja114/Current_Vantage_Pro.htm

Live in Gorham, just made the loop around the lake half hour ago. There is patches of open water in different spots up at the north end and looks like the majority of the big bay has caught.

coat of snow on top of the lake, still locked up but the wind has now picked up judging by the pine trees. Hopefully it got enough to hold through the night.
