Sucessfull HUT PARTY!!

Thank you everybody that came to the hut party. It was a total sucess :thumbsup:    Thank you olefish for cooking the wonderfull food and putting in the endless hours in prep. Was waiting to see a post like this! Were any fish caught??? Or did you guys even fish...maybe everyone just sat around olefish, drank, and ate his great food hahaha

We stayed at south muddy and fished a few days before the party. No great catches but did take home a few walleye and a few perch. Ice was good and ran the 4wheeler from muddy to the party on the ice. Would also like to thank olefish for all the work and say thanks to all for a great time. Was good to meet and talk to all.

Hey everyone sorry didn't make it over to the hut party. how did everyone do fishing over there? I fished off the boat launch there at poison and we didn't do to bad there. 1 walleye about 4 pounds a trout about 4 pounds and plenty of ling all varying in size.

I enjoyed this last weekend on the ice more than any other ice fishing adventure I have had ever.. A  group individuals from several ages, walks of life and areas, most having never met joined by a single passion stood side by side and put together an event that could not have been better.  Thank you all for coming, participating and sharing. Just got in from Boysen.  What a great weekend.  The party was the icing on the cake and made the trip one that will never be forgotten by my son or I.  I wanted to say thanks to everyone that participated and especially Olefish.  The meal was "fit for a king."   Hope to catch up with some of you on the hardwater soon.

you guys are making me jealous... the hard water season has ended here almost before it got started.  Had surgery to repair damaged tendons in my left elbow on Thursday and am 12 weeks down for the count... at very least I get to check out the postings and photos.....keep em coming for the rest of us to enjoy !!!!

wow, what can i say but this was a ton of fun. i'm so glad i made this trip and anyone who missed it, missed out. thank you so much Ole for all the hard work and great food. it was really cool of you to set all of this up. thanks to all of you who helped. if this gets done again next year i will for sure be there. I must admit that it was great meeting all of you. thanks again, this will for sure be my most memorable year on the ice. here are some pics of fish we caught.

Glad the get together was a success. I had been planning on it for over a month but work got in the way. Damn it... Will make the one next year. Hope to run into all of you at the Derby..
