I called Washington County Department of Parks & Recreation.  They said the park (The Whole Park) opens at 8:00AM and is closed at 5:00PM(Winter Hours).  Those are the rules, I will abide by them. Will you be cited if you are caught, I do not know. You will have to decide for yourself if catching a fish is worth it.   I personally can not watch my line if I am looking over my shoulder for a deputy.  I am too old and fat to outrun one.  Maybe some Washington County residents can request longer hours for next year.

Rules are rules I guess.    I for many years coon hunted the park property without any issues during their winter hours.     I also have been on the ice there before sun up in different areas of the lake.   I also carp fish there all night many times.   Not saying I was not breaking the rules as stated above...... one will have to decide that on their own.    8 to 5................. misses some of the most productive ice time.      ::)
