can anyone fish the lake or do you hafta have a pass of some kind? ive seen on a internet sight that public fishing was ok, but i would like to be sure.. thanks for your time

Yes you can ice fish this lake I used all the time but you have to get permission unless they changed it haven't ice fished it for about four years now I always go to lake stoney creek which is also private but I have permission

yea things have changed .....you definetly dont want to get caught there without a tax receipt that you own property there and pay taxes ...call the boro of Indian Lake to see how much it will cost you if you get caught there....814-267-4614

Hey guys. I'm a long time lurker that has never been ice fishing yet. Lol still working up my nerve. Maybe this year.

I live about 2 miles from Indian lake. It is a private lake unless you get permission from someone you know that lives there.

Closed to ice fishing this year for everyone anyway do to the water being drawn down to finish some work on the breast.








As of now it is a cost of $1500. A year for a general public permit to use the lake. For next year they are trying to pass an ordinance that would also require a permit to keep fish. Last I heard this permit will cost around $300. A year.
