I will be out of town from the 9th-24th with little or no internet access. You

Where is bartons cove? I no longer work weekends and am almost positive I can get out there!
The last gathering i went to was bare hill 2 yrs. ago and had an absolute blast! hopefully that will happen again this year

Bar tons cove is in the town of GILL MA on route2 if you have GPS put in 129 French king highway gill MA that's the closest mail box to the entrance within 100yds, there's a small auto repair shop opposite the entrance to bar tons cove watch out for the wooden sign, also it's right around mile marker 54 on route 2 that will get you real close,

Is it at the end of Barton Cove road (across from the outbody shop)? Saw the Barton Cove Campground up the road a piece but didn't think that was it. Just want to make sure since it'll be dark and no GPS here.

There's one of those brown signs they have at public access fishing spots, I think. Not a very large one f I remember right, but it's there. There's a good length of road between the main road there and the parking lot, and there's a white building across from it that does some variety of work on cars.

Thanks Grizly, that is Barton Cove Road according to the Bing map I'm looking at, can see the autobody place too. Hopefully I'll be able to make the trip up.

I updated the first post with a list of those who raised their hand
or otherwise spoke up in this thread. Lets hear from folks as the
ducks fall in line for the 5th. Chime in if you can definitely make it
or even if you unfortunately cannot and lets start a food list as well.

A gathering would be a good way to meet people New Pilgrim and Moose,
just about any thing that swims in the north east (except maybe lakers) can
be caught in The River. We have managed to land pike at each outing so far.

bartons once was good now just a bunch of russians that keep everything and a new crew of idiots that keep there gear in frozen all night while the go home to sober up seen it twice not only that the are cutting a bunch of live trees for firewood wont be long and that will have a gate too epos are to busy to go there so ive heard

Yes it true, the Entire Conn. R. has been completely fished out by a half dozen Russians. If it sucks so bad
why have you seen it twice already. The fishing there sure hasn't kept all the tourney douche bags from
pounding the he11 out of it in their pretty gay shirts each weekend during soft water. So I've heard
