Werthersfield Cove

I was wondering if anyone was going to the cove Saturday i was looking for an ice report. I"m hoping for a good trip Sunday.

We've been fishing it hard this week. Jigging mostly. Lots of action with perch, crappie, bluegill and a few bass. I measured a solid 6" along the north shore yesterday. Access can be a challenge at high  tide but the fishing has been good.

went there as a second resort after i couldnt get on the cove i wanted to go to at high tide, but it was suprisingly easy to get on, right in front of the parking lot there was plenty of ice around the edges! measured between 3 1/2 to 5 inches of ice on the nearer side to the lot.
