Sylvan Lake BS thread

Seein that there's a number of us here on the Shanty that fishes this lake, I figured to start a BS board for it. Make sure to add pictures to your posts when available too.

I'm sorry but this lake has been really bad the last few seasons. I would really like to know what happened it was always my favorite lake to ice fish.

well if ya didnt fill your 3 deep freezers with everything ya caught....

I'm just try to feed my family. I don't see anything wrong with keep a few fish.

I never ice fished Sylvan, but have fished it in the summer months - mostly at night while sitting back in my one-man pontoon boat.

Good bassin in the back of the lake near the stumps. I was targeting SM Piggies so I did not catch any panfish.

One night I was floating around and there was a big house party going on. I got invited to shore for a beer or 3.
Had a good time that night. For some odd reason, I can't remember ifthe fish were biting that night..

I have it on ice list this year. Will probably split a day and make it a combo trip by splitting time between there and Harris Pond or Moon Lake.

Just wonderin', anyone been doin anything on Sylvan lately?
Went a few times in Dec. Very slow bite.

I wanted to try the nite bite at least 1 more time before this ice season is over..last time, not too good
