i question the burbot as i am really gunna try hard this year to catch lake trout, but no doubt i will catch some burbot..

Ya I'm focused on the Burbot category, and got some new lures to try... and a series of lakes to try, now that i got a new sled, I will be trying them, I also will be giving the brook trout a good try, (we practiced today) and I have a good tip on a secret laker lake that has BIG POTENTIAL

No such thing as a secret brookie lake. Some folks may not know about it but I can guarantee that I do.

Hey BC, you have to have an in to predict this as we are talkin fishing and as we all know its just a matter of puttin the time in and haveing the fish gods looking up at you.LOL I scewed up and did not get signed in so everyone its wide open in all catigories as far as i am concerned. I will be cheering on my friends though. I wouldnt be able to get out on the ice cause unlike Bill I have to work and work is for ppl who dont know how to fish anyway. He He. I'm pretty sure the brookie category will be safe with a BC'er taking it. Going to be a long couple months untill the results are up.

Least ways I can try for burbot for a change of scenery.

As long as they don't decide to throw splake in there to compete with brookies. I'm guessing your gonna need a 23-25 inch brookie to place on top.

Have been kinda pouting down here on the Island trying to figure out if I'll manage to get any fish that are in the tourney this year. I was kinda choked as last week I was almost able to get out on the ice

With this winter being as cold as it is and what they say it is going to be then I might be able to hit up a Largemouth Bass for the boards. But with this week is getting cold again and some of the lakes still frozen over I'm looking to get out there

and just had the thought of something else that I can get for the BC Team... SUNFISH!!! If you guys can lock up the Brookie, Laker and Burbot category then I'll do my best with the Bass and Sunfish... maybe BC can take 5 of the 8 this year

well if you really want to get serious jst scoot a teeny little boat out there, drill a hole and then you won't have to worry about how thick the ice is. haha
