Was wondering what kind of breading you all use to deep fry pan fish?

i prefer italion bread crumbs. If im all out i mix some garlic pepper with crushed crackers. Actually just ate few walleye breaded with the garlic pepper n crackers. Tasted great

Awesome stuff!!!  I like the spicy kind.  Also I cook fish blackened cajun style...tastes great with any fish and even my wife (who hated fish when we met) loves it!!!

I use a combo of three parts Italian bread crumbs to one part corn meal (for crunch and texture). I also like to add a half sleeve of crushed ritz crackers to the mixture. I also start the breading process with flour, then eggwash, to the breading. It makes a thicker crust. If ya like a thinner crust, skip the flour.
