We were up there a week or so ago.  Off from the state park access the ice seemed to be pretty good.  There were quite a few people out there, so quite a ways out.

We went up to Carmi yesterday, not to fish but to check out what was going on....There were some folks out fishing.  We watched for quite awhile but no one seemed to be catching anything even the occasional flags going up.  The ice was too scary for me to venture out.  Let's hope for some chilly weather this week!
