weather field cove 12/27/10

ice was good 4 inch ice  but very windy did a wind checker it said 47 mph wind some time it less  any way went to my spot where i know there a boat in the water did some jigging and a good time but had to fight the wind so i set up a wind blocker and did fish 11 am to 5 pm .  a 4x4 jeep were playing then went on the exit hill end up going back down end up on the water so do not try it or you will end up too it all ice up on the hill

i was thinking about trying it out today hope it isn't too slushy

I park in the snow it not that deep maybe good 6 inch of snow the wind blew most of the wind to the house  i might fish thurday morning  at my spot

I just got back from the wethersfield cove, at least 4 inches everywhere i drilled, not too much slush at all either.  Put mostly big suckers out for a while and a couple dead goldies, and a few larges, two flags but missed em' both, could've been the wind not sure, a few guys out there got some bass and perch, they were staying later to try to get some walleye

thats good to know , i hate getting wet
