Crystal Lake

Has anyone gone over to Crystal lake?  How thick is the ice around Sandy Beach and the Launch?

I've driven past it a few times on my way towards Stafford but haven't checked.

Do many people ice fish it?  Good bass pond?

I measured 2.5" a few feet off the launch last Sunday, and I know there are guys fishing on 4" out there in places. Just not sure where.

Was headed into the hills tomorrow, but cancelled due to the pending blizzard. Maybe I'll shoot up there and wet a line.

crystal is good going there in a half hour it has all fish except pike and walleye in it
