cod jig looks like its got some crazy glo!! can we see a 40"er??

I charged it up with a light bulb, went in the bathroom and shut off the lights and it lite the whole bathroom up!  :o I think it will get the 40"er

I think that new crazy bait you got will catch the big ones. :roflmao:

i got a 12 y 6 pop up icefishing hut.. well, about 2 weeks before christmas, works pretty good! :D

We cleaned up   :o    I got a clam Nanook,  each of the Boys got a Frabill Recon,  We all got nice mitts like Bill's. 3 kinds of  berkley maggots,   lots of  Williams wablers,  I got the Marcum SHOWDOWN early... (last week)  and a real surprize... a  Marcum LX-I  from an awesome friend.  You are too kind.  We got lots of smelly Jelly, a new Finnbore III hand auger to put on the ICE GATOR,  flashlights,  We all got out own colapsable shovels for our flip shelters, as well as our own ice hole scoops,   new trappers hats,  micro jigs,   Everyone got a spanky new tape measure with big numbers on it,   and various other lures/ hooks, that I dont need to mention.    We are spoiled.   ;)

Oh and I forgot,  the kids got Marmish rods on order,  and I treated myself to a new uglystick lite,  with a sweet new OPTIX-10 reel.     :P   Brookies...here we come

curious to know..has anyone bought one of those 3 man fishing tents that costco has for $165...they look not to bad....any opinions ??

Nothing for ice fishing really but I got a Fly Tying kit and some mepp lures. Can finally start learning to make my own flies... should have kept some deer hair from my buck  :-\

it all depends on the type of flies you are tying, my advice is start with a very simple pattern, and then once you master that you can slowly start tying harder patterns, I have been tying for atleast six years now and sell m any of mine. Although i specialize in salmon and steelhead patterns

Ya should've kept the deer hair. My first pattern was a tom thumb. It's just deer hair and it works.

Got a new Eskimo 10 in power auger and a few other toys for hard water. Got to love it when your kids finaly get jobs and have money to spend on the old man.
