Anyone fished Zelma lightly? How is the bite and the ice?

can't believe there is no reports for old Zelma

That could mean the fishing is good and no one wants us to know.  Or nobody fishes there anymore.

either way, i want to take my shack off strap an move it. just dont know what lake yet

we caught alot of big pike out of there acouple of years ago.We didn t have a scale but im pretty sure the one was over 20lbs.

i dont know much about zelma lake, but any ideas where i should put the shack onto on there

Zelma is too far to go from Warman if you are a weekend warrior -- you are looking at close to a 200km trip everytime you want to go out.  If I was you, I would look at Bradwell...somewhere you can head out every weekend  and it isn't super far away...just my 2¢

we caught the pike on the south side of the lake in fairly shallow water.Ever think about lac le peche pretty close to us warmanites...the site says they stock it with walleye.I sent the camp ground an e-mail ill share what I get.

had horrible luck at bradwell last year. i got the shack a black strap right now. and la peche sucks for the biggens

Bradwell as been decent this year...might be worth a trip out there without your shack to see.

why dont you move your shack to Broderick....there's always  some big fish there you can insult.LOL...just tell the fish how old they look....the stupid fish might get mad and bite. Then again.......

there are perch and eyes in zelma. I have however heard that zelma can be tough to fish due to an abundance of shrip/feed. Rumor has it, you need to fish with live bait to get anything to hit. Can't say that I have ever fished it tho. Would like to try tho.

thanks for the update on zelma. ya maybe try the portable first before bringing the big boy out lol.
