Volga Lake

Just wondering if anyone has any info on Volga Lake.  Any decent fish in it?  Ice depth?  I'm new to the area and am looking for spots other than Mississippi River.

DNR Fishing reports this summer talked of new brushpiles. Has anyone fished them?

I fished it alot when I was in college, but that was a long time ago. As I recall we did the best along the west side of the lake. Be Careful though, there are somr springs that come in along that side and will create some thin ice and open spots.
