Power drill with converter.

Has anyone attempted to use a cord drill with a power converter rather than a cordless drill?
I would think you would have more power but don't know how fast the converter would run the deep cell battery down.


Any help would be great

Ohh my bad -- In use to convert a hand auger to power auger.
