Swedish pimples. Either the gold or silver, try the two different flappers that come with them, somedays they work others they won't.

i have really good luck with small panfish and crappie jigs tipped with powerbait and worm for rainbows in idaho

My current favorite for rainbows is a Berkley Powerbait Atomic Teaser white with yellow teaser.
Second would be anything from custom jigs and spins tipped with raw shrimp.
Rat finkee shrimpo ratso poppee slender spoon in Orange or pink or glow colors work good for me,
Catch quite a few bows up here in Alaska.

For rainbows I do well with krystal lazers and tiny tots. I also lead cast my own lazers so I can make variations in color and material. Scud
patterns that I tie tipped or not with a wax worm are my best producers.

Mite mite grubs in the glow in the dark for everything and binonic bucktails for lakers.

last season for trout (rainbows mostly) i used a 1/16 chart. jig head(various ones....Northland in glow perch, Genz worm in chart or glow etc) tipped with half a meal worm. It worked really well.
