Alright.

Just wanted to see how many of you folks are planning on going out for the first time this Saturday. I know I am. Not looking for spots but if you wanted to give a general idea of where your going that would be cool.

Ill be out this Saturday down here in Southern Maine. Hope everyone finds safe ice for Saturday!

Snowfun and I are going to hit some ice somewhere Saturday. It might be the only day for the next week or so. Going to rain Monday and half Tuesday and be much warmer. Back to fall fishing maybe!

Wish I could say I was goin but i cant. My secret spot is marshy leading into the pond and thats still soft. Maybe after the next few cold night. Mondays not looking good tho. Would like to see the snow gone on the pond then it could make some good ice.

Wish I could but no go this weekend might get a couple of hours in next wednesday if the weather stays cold up here in the frozen north

Not sure about saturday but i should definately be out tomorrow. Did a little scouting around today. Found a good 1.5" of black ice. With tonights single digit tempatures having enought ice for tomorrow shouldn't be a problem. Wish me luck.

Just crossed Dads pond and found four hits with a dull spud went threw near shore= 21/2". Scary walking alone, then found five hits in the middle.

Don't worry about snow on the ice, I also nearly fell on my but just wear spikes. Then again check the ice yourself and bring someone along.

pretty sure im goin out saturday morning, im turning the page, my hunting season is over, time to start the ice season, got a pond close by i can get out on a little ways, hoping to jig my first feed of perch for the winter....I'd go to the meet and greet but its too far and too close to festivas, still got to get some stuff before i can start thinking about myself again..lol

Might be snowing in the morning in some spots of the state, so PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL if you plan on going
out on the ice.....We don't want your first trip out of the season to be your last $:-\$ .....Better SAFE then sorry!
