Wheel House
« on: Dec 07, 2010, 07:02 PM »
Hi all

I was just wondering if anyone knows a dealer in SD who sells wheelhouses. I am interested in purchasing one. Or if anyone has one could point me in the right direction regarding makes and models.

Thanks

Doug's anchor marine and Advantage RV in watertown, check there should be able to find something that works for ya.  otherwise build one for your self, is lots of work but is fun to fish out of one that you made too i think.  another perk about building your own, you can spend less money too, if your not after all the fancy things that some of the shacks have that are manufactured.  we add a few things each year or as we want to.  If you do go with building one, spend the time and money though for good frame, wheel kit or a system that works good and catch covers, after that add more each year if ya can.

I use a 1965 camper with holes in each corner.  I have $800 into it total and we camp in it too.  If you are around RC come take a look.  It's not for rent but you could borrow it.
