I noticed several unusual usernames . mine comes from another hobby I have, building things. I built a midevel seige machene several years ago and use it for tossing pumpkins and the like. I can throw a 10 lb boling ball 100 yards. the machene is called a trebuchet.

Mine "Chickenfoot" come from my son, after a football injury,at UConn in 71 I had compartment syndrome, and they the doctors cut 60%of my calf off to save the leg and it looked like a chicken leg with the foot aka Chickenfoot!!

I think my name speaks for itself. lol! This is my third year ice fishing, and the first year, I didn't have a shelter or much gear, so I sat on a bucket in some extremely cold weather just to catch some fish. I'm taking -20 with the windchill. Lot's of layers, and going back to the truck to warm up. I've since got a shanty, but figured it was a good name for IceShanty. : - )

First name is Rodney so all my life I have been called rowdie rod, rod, hot rod, nim rod, etc.. I thought icerod was appropriate for ice fishing. Also been ice fishing since about 3 years old, so it kind of fits.

Rode a Goldwing with a sidecar for years with my best friend, Elvis (a black lab) as my primary passenger. That dog has at least 50k on a motorcycle.

used to call my buddy to see if he was fishin and his son would answer the phone id ask if his dad was fishin and he'd say mo fish id say ya mo fish so it stuck
