12-3-10, TARRYALL RES.
« on: Dec 03, 2010, 08:35 PM »
Dad and I went to Tarryall and fished from 2-4pm. Middle of lake is all open water. Down by the dam looked like bad ice. Fished by the inlet in 7 feet of water on 9-10 inhes of ice. Was 4 other anglers in this area when we arrived. I caught 10, lost 1, and had 7 other hits. Dad caught 1 and had 1 other hit. Used waxworms on pink Ratfinkee. Nice sized keepers for Tarryall. Used the ultralight rods with 4 pound line. What a fight.

I was wondering how you did today. I went to Antero with my buddy and we both got skunked. The wind was awful out there. We stuck it out until noon but a lot of people left and I don't think anyone did great. This warm weather may end up eating a lot of ice if it doesn't change.

Wasted my time on the third at Antero. Should have been at Tarryall again!
