Bear in mind, this is presumptive for sure but there has been safe ice on Birch Creek Reservoir (essentially just the other side of the road) for well over a week now. I would guess that Woodruff has safe ice also.

6" with as warm as it's been? I was thinking that the ice there would be disappearing instead of building.
I guess I gotta quit moping about and cut some holes...

Any luck, btw?

Yea, trout only. No perch that day. But trout is what I target and love.

Well THAT got my attention. Finally got my license today (long story)... just need to find some bait and start the search for perch.
Thanks for the ice report.

A friend of mine drilled a couple holes yesterday and reported about 4.5". Not sure where exactly he went. (Mantua)
Edges are getting a bit soft with this warm weather too.
