Pre ice fest..fishin the Chu..where were you all??

FNE told me a few of u would be at cellar holes pre fest. i got there at little b4 8, 5 guys already there.  0 fish, bites, runs. nada zilch

 i asked if they were from the shanty. 
What's that?...Doh

i guess you guys showed up later or went somewhere else..

i floated some trout bait for a while then switched to a cast master. headed down shore, ended up at the big rock outcropping.
some big perch following lure in but no bites.

headed out about 1015..ran into karl, talked to him for a few minutes. then headed home..

took out my 1962 Bronson Hawk 903 (my first pole) ands went up sportsman club...nada

skunked..

i want ice...

Sorry we missed you bud. Tried to stay away from the crowds. We fished 3 different gates.

we started at scar hill around 10, then to 3 ponds and the cove. i would have called ya but don't have your number.

too bad we missed ya. you could have joined our no fish party. at least we were not the only ones not catching. talked to 1 guy walking out of scar hill and he got 1 small laker and 2 guys fishing next to us got a rainbow but all early in the morning. good company and alot of laughs.

hi jay. you were the guys with the rainbow trout? nice to meet u. we went to 2 other spots after we got nothing there to get more nothing. looks like all the action took place in the early morning that day. thanks for the shiners.

No, I landed a 19-inch laker on a spoon and talked to a guy for a minute or two over by the deep water point off Scar Hill Rd. who was rigging up a giant Ugly Stick as I was walking back toward the main gate. Thought that might have been you.

ok not me then. maybe i passed u on the way in to scar hill. i was walking in and passed a group of 3 guys on the way out and 1 person said that they got 1 laker around 10am.
