Icefishing by Thanksgiving, NO WAY
« on: Nov 10, 2010, 02:28 PM »
There was a post last month on the prediction of the first ice trip. Some said they have fished around Thanksgiving. Next week in MA, temps will be in 50's during the day. Don't prime the augers just yet.

I was thinking the same thing. It going to be in the high 40's and low 50's in Northern Maine for the rest of the week and into the weekend.   >:(

I've already researched here on iceshanty to find some good early ice in Nortnern NH!!!!!  I've got the bug bad this year and will be willing to drive a couple of hours to hit some hardwater in early december if I can.  The forecase for Conway area for early next week is lows in the low 20's!!!!!!

To have early ice, the all knowing, all seeing fish Gods require a virginal sacrifice. But as we all know too well, now adays that's pretty much an Impossibility !  ;D

wow rick that's hard core. riding a tree down to the ground and living to tell about it is nuts. no wonder why we can never get together. u are always working but it makes the time out fishing that much better. i'll let u know when the ice is safe on falls and u can let me know what day is best for u to fish and we will hit it. let's get r done.
