Sweet! They still sell that stuff? I need to get that in my sled this year for sure! So far all I've bought is this really cool led flashlight with a lantern light on the side and am/fm/weather band radio. That will light up the shack as well as entertain me when the fishin is slow. :tipup:

Roy, I don't know where you live in Rapid, but they sell Ice Hole at the liquor store thats in the plaza on the corner of Sheridan Lake road, and Catron.

I picked up a Vex fl-8se in July. It was too good of a deal to pass up being on sale for under $200.

This weekend  I was given a Legend Elite 24" light from a bud for being the best man in his wedding. He owed me some $ for something else so he gave me a Tica Cetus to make it even. Not too bad a weekend!

Heck yeah, beats an engraved flask!  I just picked up a few more things at Thorne Bros on Saturday, which include an Arctic Warrior tip up from Clam, some braid for my casting reel, and a jar of Gulp! Alive fish fry in chartreuse color.  That tip up is gonna go great with the JM Mackinaw rod/Eagle Claw casting reel I puchased this summer too.

Got myself the Navionics App for my IPhone. Looks pretty cool so far, but will have to see how it works in the cold. They say it drains the phone battery pretty fast.

JUST THIS WEEK I GOT A NEW FISH TRAP 2 SHANTY MICKY MOUSE BOOTS TWO NEW NOODLE ROD AND NEW HEATER AND NOW SAVING UP TO BUY A VEX FL 18. NEEDLESS TO SAY IM READY FOR THE ICE TO BE HERE. LOL

I bought a "used" ice fishing package off craigs list. I say it like that because most of the stuff was used 3 or 4 times max in 3 years since it all was purchased. Anyhow, the package included Jiffy Stealth STX 2hp 8" gas auger, Shappell DX3000 shanty, 5 tip ups, 2 HT Woodsman rod combos, a bag for the equipment, and about $80 in tackle. Great things is I only payed $425 and I have someone that might buy the shanty off me for around $200.

went to breakfast with my brother this morning and all we talked about was ice fishing...on the way home he bought a Clam Ice Shanty and this afternoon we bought a new Ice Gator Attacker ll...no more drilling holes by hand for us...good times have come our way!!!

Thanks, now to wait for it all to arrive. All the jigs are here but Custom Jigs and Spins is local to me, The Nils was pre ordered through red rock store and should be in, in a few weeks and everything else was ordered through Thorne Bros with lots of time by Matt there to help me get setup and cheap shipping, once the last rod is built everything will ship from there.

Made a lot of small purchases this year thus far, this is the year I'm going all in on ice fishing. Long time summer fisher, only dabbled on hardwater though. So far:

Clam Base Camp
Otter Sport Sled
Jason Mitchell 26' Perch rod
Shimano Sienna 1000
Croxton Pond rod case
One more Frabill Pro-Thermal tip-up
Clam Shovel
Many jigs
Fireline Crystal, Vanish, and Trilene Micro-Ice

I think that's all  ??? Still gotta get either a Humminbird Ice 45 or Vex fl-12. Leaning towards the bird!! Cannot wait for this year!!
