NIls Master replacement blades ( is it worth it)???
« on: Dec 07, 2004, 02:20 PM »
I just found out my old man has an 8 inch NIls master hand auger but the blades are dull. Is it worth buying new one at 49$ a pop or should I stick to my old normark swede bore ( in Canada) similar to mora.

This is like buying a Nils for $50...I think it'd be foolish to NOT buy the replacement blades. Or better yet, keep your Swedebore and send this Nils to me! ;)

sturgeon:

I agree with ChenBassHead... A Nils for $50 bucks is nothing for a great auger and besides it's a something that you can hand down for generations  ;)
