A big pike was also trying to catch my dinner.

Those punctures look a little too deep for the short teeth of a Pike to me. It looks more to me like someone caught it, stepped on it with big ice climber type cleats on, removed the hook and sent it back down the hole.

Is there any marks on the other side of the fish?

It was a pike around 25 to 30 pounds, here's the other side.
