i just got in from a lake in allegan and its windy and really deep snow and slush but the gills and speck were bitin.

I was in Eaton county this am. Lots of slush good wind, but in the tent it was toasty and gills were bitin'.

So they're biting eh.  Shallow or deep?  The last couple outings I have punched a ton of holes, but only got small ones.  Gonna try to get out tomorrow afternoon/evening for the gill and speck bite.  Killed em early in the year in about 20 FOW, but lately can't find many keepers.

im fishing 30 to 19 feet deep on the lakes i fish but they are moving to shallow water again lately.caught mine in 17 foot yesterday all suspended 10 foot off the bottom .

Dr. Speckler I'm from the otsego area am I'm looking for a place to take my 12 year old for some gills and pike got any suggestions on where to take him
