Hi all,
After a very late start, due to trying to get through an early appointment, I decided to do some ice fishing. Got set up by 11:15, 6 flags one 3.25LB bass on a tilt.
2 pics, 2 calicos(crappie) and one perch jigging...Ice was still hard edges were ok but a few spots were showing through along the edges.stayed about 3 1/2 hours...not a soul out there but me and my dog Nibba. if the rain isn't too bad and the temps don't get crazy..the ice might make it for the W/E up here in Burrillville..

PS saw the ice rescue in tauton...did you guys notice the condition on that ice from above?? that guy was craaazy to go out there...watch out for BLACK LOOKING ice and any ice that splinters is honeycombed and not good...Watch yourselves...BE SAFE
