We have been hitting South bay for about 3 weeks and have caught some nice crappies and a walleye...The crappies were hitting medium heavy shiners on tip-ups and wanted pimples with a minnow head on the hook, in about 17 ft. of water off the drop off edges....Stay away from the channel around the bridge, its almostt aalways open and currently is. About 15 inches on most areas, they have been driving all over the by, except the channel...Barebow
