I plan on fishing primarily Shawano Lake and the bay. Little Bay de Noc too. I don't know, I don't get to fish much open water other than Voyager park in the spring. Girlfriend isn't too happy about the new hobby but I blame her for living in Shawano. I varmint hunt, regular fish, deer hunt, duck/goose hunt, and now ice fishing. Heck I may even start trapping.

I want to fish walleye and pike primarily.

i know how that goes i don't fish to much in the summer, i don't know why but i like icefishing so much more. i go in phases on what to fish for last winter i got on a white fish kick it was fun really caught lots of them.
