ramapo lake

Hi guys.. I'm thinking about going up to ramapo lake ( its gonna be quite a hike) and would like to know if a power auger is allowed up there?  I wouldn't think so because there's no boat launch and I never seen and motorboats up there. And info and tips I would appreciate. Ty

The only place I know of that doesn't allow power augers are the lakes in Sterling Forest NY.

Have to watch out.  Ice is very thin.  Only 2" in spots.
