yeah, i've been out.  nothign good to report on though.  been fishing orman, finally caught a keeper.  been fishing ft meade for sunnies and gills.  i'm around

How big are the gills and where do you fish at FT. Meade?

they're about 5-6 inches.  nothing big enough to keep, but it's close to my house and I only have to drill one hole.  i usually only go for an hour and get sick of it.

i got out yesterday for the first time in a while - hit sheridan and deerfield. caught perch at sheridan in 30 fow, one perch in 14 at deerfield. no monsters. ice is thick, which helps for access. an eagle did still the perch from us at deerfield. guess he wanted if more than me!

Has anybody found the gills in Pactola yet? I've had to settle for small perch at Sheridan and want some good eater bluegill. Although if anybody knows where some of those 10+ in. perch are at Sheridan that would be nice too.

ive caught just 2 perch over 10 in at sheridan this year. i think it was a fluke.

sorry to hear you guys are having bad luck at sheridan, this has by far been the best year i have ever had there.

this is my biggest, but we have gotten a ton in the 10 - 11 inch range

I've been out on different lakes for the last three weekends and haven't caught a damn thing and only marked a couple of fish.  Things are getting really tough, I sure hope this weekend is better.

Ive fished more in eNebraska this year than I have west river.  but I did  go to angi. on sun am for three hours .  pretty slow didn't even see anyone else fishing. going back all day on friday though.
