Since the ice is sooooo thick, where are the fish?! I have been only catching fingerlings!

I haven't been to banner. I heard about the ice thickness there though. It's kinda thin! 6-7 inches with 3-4 in some spots! Has anyone else been to banner? I would also like to know how it's doing for trout and crappie. Went to badger last week, and caught a few keepers. Nothing special though. :P

fished banner last sunday for about 2 hours, not a single bite but showed a few fish on the bird.
