So is this a good part of the river to ice fish i'm new to fishing the River

can't be any worse than any other part of the river. can't hurt to try it there, see lots of cars parked there last monday

Be very careful in that area .I was just a little north of there and fell threw on Sat night.My buddy was about 100 yards north of me and also went threw.Some guys said there buddy went threw that we talked to in the parking area .I am done fishing that area unless we get some real cold weather to firm it back up.The center of the channel is pretty beat down from the snowmobiles 2 hits of my spud and it was threw.So be very careful if you venture to that area.

just got back from there, so slush on the ice but it was safe at least 4 every place i drilled at, and as many fish as we were not catching i was drilling alot of holes
