day at the Sandbar

South side of the sand bar. Very productive. Not much to take home. Many pike 12 to 15". 4 really nice size jumbo perch. will have pics up later. Biggest perch i have seen out of champlian. Was set up in 3.5 to 5 fow. Fun day....jim s

Sounds like a good day. We have a large shanty(the hillbilly hotel) on the south side and seem to do pretty well all season on Pike. This year was kind of slow to start but has picked up. We usually get half a doz fish over 10lbs during the season, just hope to get one of those this upcoming weekend.

I was on the river side today. Again a bunch of people looked like mosy of them jigging. But anyways I got a bunch of pike in the 12 to 15" range. Hope you dont get mixed in with them next weekend. But it was fun running the flags. Did get some nice perch today off the tip ups. Now just if i could remember how to post a d**n pic on here.....jim s
