I called an agent yesterday cause my yearly one went thru the wash this summer. Agent said new ones on sale 3/1/2010. Good till 2/28/2011.

No I just checked DNRsite and says you may purcase and use them fom march 1 2010 thru March 31, 2011.

i heard that the move is to buy you fishing lisence online, because you print it at home and you can make all kinds of copies.  In case you wash one or lose one.  I figure, 1 in truck, 1 in wallet, 1 in boat, etc..

That's exactly what I do for both mine and my wife's non resident license for MI.  (I do the same for our Indiana license also.)  When it comes up for you to print your license just hit the <Print Screen> key which saves a copy of the web page.  Then paste it into Paint and save it to your hard drive.  Wala, any time you need to reprint, it's right there.  I also put a copy in the boat, both ice shantys, my wallet, and the glove box of the Suburban.

Great idea, always get nervous when I can't find my license and see the DNR walking around.
