You need to elaborate a little more. Panfish, trout, walleye, bass, northern, etc. The field right now is a little to broad. Fin
Northland forage minnow rainbow color
Rapala ice jig!!!
If you can only afford one jig, I would quit fishing and start saving money. Maybe pick up aluminum cans off the side of the road.
Agree, I have caught more different species on that one lure than any other through the ice. Not sure why that color is so effective. From the top of my head: trout(rainbow, brown and lake), N. pike, pickeral, walleye, yellow perch, crappie, bullhead, sunnies(gills, PKS), large and smallmouth bass, rock bass, smelt, cisco.
I was just kidding, go to the bait shop and buy some ice fishing tear drop jigs they don't cost more than about $1 each, tip them with waxies. I would not go heavier than 1/64 oz, I'm mainly talking pan fish, I use tip ups for walleye and pike.
your going to order one jig? Wouldnt it make sense to not pay shiping and just got buy a few???But i like a few from custom jigs and spins, as well as northland
What size would you recommend for this? 3/8? 1/2? 3/4?
I use the biggest size which is only 1/4 oz and about 1" long.
Weird. THey only had those 3 sizes for sale.
Maybe thats why free shipping? Those are way to big. I would only use that heavy in a river with real strong current, or fishing over 40 feet deep with a big minnow.
