Owner of the house just called me...he's charging me 100.00 off my deposit for cleaning...said the bathrooms were a mess and the kitchen needs cleaning...i dont understand....we cleaned everything

I'm in carl. I've had that problem myself up there in the past. Nice people but they are money hungry.
you wont have to worry about cleaning the campers. I dont think its possible to make them dirtier. haha!

guy talked my ear off for half hour about evrything under the sun and then he drops the bomb....we cleaned for an hour and a half....

Karl, I'll help you out any way I can also. Thats BS. Its not like we broke something for them to charge us. You shouldn't get stuck with that kind of out of pocket expense.

As for the western guys a buddy of mine said they all had a great time, but not lots of fish. I don't recall the numbers they caught, but he couldn't believe it when I told him I got 18 pike and 8 pickerel in one day....said something like that was half the amount of fish the whole group caught for their whole trip. Again thats just second hand info so not sure.

He told me on the phone that he really needs to set up a cleaning charge as it happens often...that way its all up front....that would actually be better for everyone...then no worries....

Sorry to hear about the deposit guys,Ill be there in 2 weeks hope all goes well.Ive been there before doesnt seem to be that kind of person,so I guess we better clean good.Thanks for the info and it looks like you guys had a great trip.Congrats to Indian Hill on the 17 .lbder that is sweet to see.Nice place and great fishing what else could you ask for.

gotta hit the spot we were slaying them and even further towards the cove as spawn comes on....Chad will let ya know where....

we cleaned pretty good...2 hours worth..he is a cool guy, but just wasnt good enough i guess....besides, how well can a bunch of ice fisherman clean a house.....i like his idea of a cleaning charge up front and no worries...

Thanks for all the wonderful photo's. Seem like a good group of folks enjoying what they love. I myself stopped doing "group" outings a while back because of a couple of bad eggs (both hunting and fishing), if you get my drift? Seems like you guys got it down

Def.going to hit that spot,last year thats where all the locals were couldnt get in there.We will see,Ill keep ya posted.I talked to chad and gave him a little info on the rental house.

Thanks guys. The pictures came out pretty good. I'm glad everyone had a good time. Did you hear about my vehicle trouble just above White River Junction? Just before I went up there they put a new muffler on my truck, but left the old catillitic converter on the truck. It was all broken up inside and clogged up the muffler and I lost almost all power. Drove home from above White River Junction to Holyoke exit at 30-45 miles an hour with my flashers on. Took like 4.5 hours. Atleast I wasn't dead on the side of the road and was making forward progress.

Update....heard from OD21 of the Western mass Group. They caught some pike but could not defeat Mighty Mike and the 17 lber...A $50.00 check is headed my way for the Joslin Camp....

Porter, I will bring the check with me to the derby if i get it in time...
