I'll be the 2nd vote for anything from Clam, I have a Clam Guide and a Clam Base Camp. Love em both!

I am also a big fan of Clam, I have 2 of them, the X2 and the Sleeper. It hard to beat the X2, the poles are beefer that other makes I have seen and there is plenty of room. Here are a couple of pictures of mine. Hope it helps.

Wow that X2 is really sweet set up.  I narrowed it down today and went and bought a Clam Yukon for $419 and it has the really nice seats. Lasts year model 2009.  I think I will be happy with it.

I have an older Frabill XL twin that is just fine to fish in the only hassle is that plastic seat support in the back, but from what I have seen is that Frabill has improved that to a folding back legs so the problem is taken care of.  Good Luck!

Last year's Yukon.  I may be in the minority, but would not get the TC.  The seats don't move like before and no traplink.  Also the smaller door in the front is a turnoff.

I got my Yukon last year at Gander for $350.

DX4000 for $399 right now. As mentioned, skiis on it and pulls so easily on a foot of snow. Full floor, plenty of room and tough material. Now they have removable windows so you can replace easily or use as hunting blind (Although who wants a blue blind in the woods  ???)

Frabill Outpost. They come in 3 different sizes. The middle one is great for fishing 2. Seats 3 comfortably but is crowd for all three to fish. You could even get the six man for under $500.

If your pulling it with 4wheeler or snowmobile I would say the clam denalli II. Ton's of room for two people. If your pulling it by hand through any amount of snow it's a tank, only downfall IMO.

if you're not locked into a flip over, check out the Shappell 4000 - when I bringing out the wife or guests you can't beat the room.  folds up easily, skis make it tow like nothing, and the room is unbeatable.  fishes 2 guys like a deluxe room at the Ramada, 4 fit as comfortably as most 2 man shelters.  two doors make entry a lot easier without moving guys.  Two trap doors for holes measure 3' long alone each opposite side of the shanty and allow for 4 holes each, room for jigs, cameras, vex, easy.  Cost about $300
