anyone know the ice condition at carbuncle? fishing (along with the ice) was ok 3 weeks ago out in the deeper spots.planning on going this weekend. any reports?

Wasted the morning 6:30 -11:30 there today,plenty of ice (8" in most spots) & wind   I counted 5 fisherman ,25 tip ups  over 4 hours and saw one pickeral caught 6" long.
It's a great spot to relax, the fish won't bother you at all.

Thanks for the update. Last Saturday Stump Pond gave up two fish in 5 hours. We had 8 tips and two jigging rods. I counted about 14 fisherman, didn't see their flags.
