How much ice on Champlain around Mallet's Bay, Keeler Bay, the sandbar, cowbanks, etc...
Got some friends putting out permanents this weekend, need to know where the ice is safe for them. Thanks.

I was at Cowbanks last week and there was a solid 8". Huge pressure crack just outside the boat launch, so I'm sure the ice is even thicker now.

I was out only a few hundred yards, but there are shantys there, and wheelers were driving all over the bay.
