We are getting to the point in the season where it is easy to assume that all the ice is safe . Nothing could be further from the truth . There are more than one thread on Iceshanty.com right now about icefisherman falling through the ice, and at least a couple where they did not make it out alive!
Know your surroundings on the ice. Educate yourself, and your friends and family on ice saftey . here is a link that could save your life.
