big bay

planning on goin to big bay on saturday and was wondering how the snow/slush is. and if the ice is thick enough for a snowmobile or not. thanks.

Was at the Bay today ice is fine 8-9 inches and the crust froze up so no worries i got my limit today and yesterday. fish are biting up high maybe 2 to 3 feet under the ice. I seen 2 bald eagles out there today flying around. They landed on the ice and fought over a pickerel was an amazing sight  :thumbsup: :icefish:

thanks guys for the info. hoping to catch my limit tomorrow. first time going out on big bay this year. hopefully i do better then last year

nope...big bay on oneida ...... the eagle  have  been there all year ....cool ain't it .... good ice and  lots of fish
...i have a black pack shack  but usually fish  in the open air green parka  orange (blaze ) pants  swing over  and say hi if you have time .......... the big bay shuffle
