Made the trip to the 1st annual FISH FOR A CURE pike derby. it was nice to meet you guys !!  i'm already looking forward to next yr !!  ;D if any of you have pics please post them so that the other Ma guy/gals can see what was going on  !! thanks  ;D

Icemaniac ran a great derby.My cuzin and i went to sabatus and had a great time. We are going to make another trip back.
He has this great idea of sleeping on the ice  ::)

Yup, That was the parking lot.
I think there was so many vehicles on the ice in one area that it settled. I seen one guys van in what looked like open water. He drove out fine but he got wet getting in.
He ended up winning an auger too.

Ice maniac ran a great  derby.
 $2000.00 for 1st!
 $900.00 for 2nd!
Kids got  a set of tilts and a basket for 1st and 2nd.
An aluminum shanty was donated for a drawing just for being a ice shanty member and being in the derby.
And this derby was for a great cause.
I think I'm going to try it again next year too.
