Is there a echo lake in Vermont??

Friend wants fish there but have no idea whats in it or if it exsists please help

Im from southern  NH over by Maine witch one would be closer town and have trout in them thanks for the help :tipup:

The one in Plymouth Vt has trout, bass ,pics and smelt,it near killington,then there is one in the NEK that has lake trout, rainbows SM bass,it is in West Charleston.I have not fished either for a long time ,I don't fish trout much.Pike man here.BB

I have not fished it in a while but the one in the NE Kingdom was a nice small lake with a fair number of lake trout but no monsters like some of the other area lakes. It is easy to access and has a lot of small camps and cottages on it. If I remember, it's only like 30-40 feet deep too. You can probably get a lake map from VT Fish and Game. Good luck.

It is a little deeper than that ,129ft at its deepest 90% is over 50ft and around 550 acres.

Yes, as said there is one in Plymouth, VT. I have fished it a few times in the summer and caught perch with my kiddos. In the winter folks set up on the north end for smelt. I have tried it in the winter as well  for perch and only caught a handful. Bait is the key and we don't have a local live bait shop so I have had to work with artificial grubs and bibbits but neither seemed very enticing to the fish. I think if you were pick up some live bait on your drive in you stand a better chance.
