We had a blast today on tipups and jigging rods.

There was a first timer out with hid daughter and my buddy handed off his rod to his little girl and this was the result.

Wilson harbor, it was crazy from about 7-12 we brought home 5 browns, 2 steelhead, and 2 pike. The smoker will be full this week.

the fishing was a blast today best part was letting the young girl catch that brown i bet she will be bothering dad every weekend now

What do people catch the trout on ? I've only been up there a few times and caught a few panfish. Thanx.

We got them on jigs and tipups with pike shiners and large emeralds.

Yeah. I think I'm gonna head back there in the morning, took tomorrow off. We'll see if the lucky streak keeps going.

Thats what it's all about, Friends, fish, fresh faces lighting up at the sight of a large brown.

Good job Irish jigger, saw them all on your wilson harbor post. i haven't had much luck there this year but i know that will change

I wasn't so lucky today. Was there from 7-12 today and nothing but midget perch. Even so it was better seeing the sunrise over the harbor than over the parking lot at work. Maybe next time.

They were biting on everything, jigs, shiners, and big pike shiners. Actually I would say we got more hits on the big shiners than anything else.
