Pink Tipups?

Saw some PINK Heritage tipups at a local sport shop, must be for the ladies. 8)

Those are the ones, they also have cork on the side of the reel for hooks.

prchslyr, Outdoorsman has them if you're serious, not that there's anything wrong with that.

As long as the flag is a flying, I don't care what color the tip up is...  But If I were to paint mine.. I doubt if I would concider pink..

I was thinking of something more along the lines of periwinkle (IS doesn't have that shade lol). That is, until I remembered I have a can of hot pink spray paint in the garage. Not joking... Don't ask. I'm am tempted as all heck. Keep an eye out for some hot pink tipups in Bolton this year CAPTJJ. Maybe some pink skulls on my black jetsled. Man... See what 'ya started.

I am going to paint just one of my HTs pink, this one I am setting up first always and it will pulled out last always, and NO ONE will tend it but me. I am doing this in memory of my wife's sister who passed on 11-25-09 due to Breast cancer. Through her battle I have found my way back to the sport I have loved since child hood.

Now thats funny.........   my daughter, who is 6, saw those at KTP not long ago and I would have to say that I can see some of those in her future. Atleast they will be good traps...until she hits the teen years and paints them black...

Considering some of the things i've written on this forum, I'm shocked anyone at all wants to fish with me.
Imagine hooking up with some dude eerrrrr meeting up with some dude from IS and they strut out on the lake, one hand on the hip and all decked out in pink Ice Armor going, "Heeeeyyyyy. Ready to work that stick?". On that note I'm probably going to be worried the next time someone pm's me saying, "I'm going to fish LG tomorrow, look for me in the ____"

What's wrong with Pink?

The last time I helped the wife out when she was under the weather and did a load of laundry I washed a new pack of Haynes with her new red sweat shirt. Turned them a nice shade of pink and the wife still says I look pretty sporty in them.

My daughter loves the color pink so we had to spray paint hers, but then she had to pick a color for mine their yellow.

I have to admit, pink is a great color for catching fish, some of my my better lures have at least a little pink in them.
