How is Palisades?

Anyone having any luck on Palisades yet?

No where near enough ice yet. Just looked at it last weedend. Doubt if it has changed much since then.

Fished Big Elk on Tuesday. Not a single bite in 4 hours. Fishing buddy caught 2 nice trout and the other 2 guys on the ice had 2 small fish. Guess they didnt like what I had even though it was the same as everyone else. Oh well that is fishing.

Fished Big Elk again yesterday. Three bites and one sucker. Very slow and nothing like years past. Don't know what is going on. Using the same thing as before just no fish. Again thats fishing.

fished it this past weekend,

 i agree that the fishing is slow- ice is slucky and soft.  Be careful on the ice along the banks- very thin and spots of open water

Just got back from Palisades. They don't call it persnickity Palisades for no reason. Fished 3 hours landed one very gutty 3-4lbs cut and broke another off at the hole. Been a very slow year there! I think I'm done fishing there for this season. I have much more productive lakes where I fish and can easily get my limit of keepers by usually 10 in the morning. Bye Bye Palisades!!!!

drove past palisades today on my way to jackson lots of folks on the ice it didn't look slushy at all dint now how they were doing but the ice looked good i may try it in the morning ill let you know how i do
