Hello my name is Curt and this is my first year ice fishing, I have had alot of people give me advice and I did some research on my own so I am pretty comfortable with what I am doing out there. I live right on the water over on north pond of the congamond lakes in Southwick, I was out there last tuesday and thursday and I got 2 pickerel each day, 2 were small, 1 was 16" and the other was pretty big at 23". A buddy and I plan on going to the east brimfield resevoir on wednesday and I was wondering if anyone had any info on the resevoir like how much ice is there? good spots to fish, and if there are any hazards we should look out for. I do own a digital camera so I will be posting pictures of my catch this year and I look forward to posting and reading your posts.
Thank you, Curt

Remember never get to comfortable on the ice especially if your not familiar with the area..2 of our fellow members have already taken a swim in the drink this year and they were on water that they were familiar with for a long time..Just though id let you know with being new to ice fishing and all. Good luck and tight lines!
